Massachusetts Superior Court Rule 25:
Application of Verdict to Counts


After a general verdict on a complaint containing several counts, the plaintiff may, on motion, have leave to amend the verdict, and enter it on any count on which the evidence by law would, at the trial, have entitled him to recover, and to strike from his complaint any defective counts.
