Massachusetts Uniform Probate Court Practice II: Necessity of Corroborating Witness(es) in Uncontested Divorce and Annulment Matters


Corroborating witness(es) shall not be required except where necessary, e.g., in adultery cases (where plaintiff does not have personal knowledge), in imprisonment cases where the plaintiff was not present in court when defendant was sentenced, and in any other case when the court so requires.
