EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 361

(Revoking Executive Orders 257 and 265.)

	WHEREAS, the Office for Refugees and Immigrants was
established by sections 205 through 208, inclusive, of chapter 6
of the Massachusetts General Laws, enacted as section 171 of
chapter 133 of the Acts of 1992; and

	WHEREAS, said sections 205 through 208 of chapter 6 grant
the Office for Refugees and Immigrants the authority necessary to
administer a transitional program for refugees and recent
immigrants; and

	WHEREAS, Executive Orders Nos. 257 and 265, establishing a
refugee policy, are no longer necessary;

	NOW, THEREFORE, I, William F. Weld, Governor of the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts, by virtue of the authority vested
in me as the Supreme Executive Magistrate, do hereby revoke,
effective October 1, 1993:
