Executive Order No. 295

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT CONTRACTS 

    I, William F. Weld, Governor of the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts, by virtue of the authority vested in me, do
hereby order as follows:

    Section I

     No contract in excess of $100,000 shall be awarded,
executed or otherwise entered into by any agency within the
executive department without the written approval of the
cabinet secretary heading the executive office responsible
for that agency pursuant to c. 6A of the Massachusetts
General Laws.

    Section II

     This executive order shall continue in effect for
ninety days or until amended, superseded or revoked by
subsequent executive order.
