Directions:
Library is in the Registry of Deeds Building on the second floor.
Driving from the North:
- Route 128 South to Exit 17 (Route 135)
- At the bottom of the ramp - take a RIGHT
- Follow 2 miles to the second set of lights
- The building is on your left at the set of lights.
- There is a parking lot behind the Registry building as well as meters on High and Court Sts. More spaces are available in the lot after 1:00, when the jury pool is dismissed.
Driving from the South:
- Route 128 North to Exit 15A (Dedham)
- At 4th set of lights, take a LEFT onto Eastern Avenue
- Go to the end and take a LEFT onto High Street
- The building is located 300 yards on your right.
- There is a parking lot behind the Registry building as well as meters on High and Court Sts. More spaces are available in the lot after 1:00, when the jury pool is dismissed.
Using Public Transportation from Boston:
- Take the Orange Line to Forest Hills
- From Forest Hills, take Bus 34E (Walpole Center via Mall & Walpole St.)
- Get off at Washington St. and School St, Dedham.
- Walk 1 block N on Washington St.
- Turn Left on High St.
- Walk approx. 2 blocks on High St.
- The building is on your right.
Using Public Transportation from Walpole or Norwood:
- Take Bus 34E to Washington St. and High St, Dedham. See bus schedule and map.
- Walk a short distance SW on Washington St.
- Turn right on High St.
- Walk approx. 2 blocks on High St.
- The building is on your right.
Accessibility:
The library is totally in compliance with the Architectural Access Board regulations. The building has handicapped parking in the rear. Enter through the side door and take the elevator to the second floor.
